Anutosh has a distinguished body of work. Anutosh paints inner landscapes, the artist prefers to emphasize its realistic nature, meaning the reality of the physical act of painting. The painter is mainly interested in the visual analogies between phenomena. Coral resembles a cracked skull and anemones are reminiscent of mushrooms. All these similarities in atmosphere and form are as logical as they are mysterious and Anutosh’s work is always imbued with that miraculous unity.
The large canvases are abstract, almost formal, They are slowly whispering movements. Precisely painted but with dynamic outbursts, sluggish rythms, intricate in their woven fore- and backgrounds.
